This site and the original artworks originally displayed herein are the work of American original Jon Olsen. In various art-related projects Jon is also proud to wear the sobriquet of burn unit.
Educated in theater and literature at Augsburg College, he also holds a master of arts in systematic theology from Luther Seminary. He has a day job and a family. Though he lives in Minneapolis, MN USA, he also participates in a number of international imbroglios, displays of cunning and urban gamesmanship.
Urspimes.com was created to combine his interests in art, web databases, the futurist ideas of Sterling and his criminal band of drifters and joyboys, as well as to complete a number of tasks in the first person real world adventure game SFZero. Several subjets d'art here at urspimes began their lives in tasks for the game. They are given as gifts, generally to other players, who will hopefully record new episodes in their stories here.
Some urspimes will also be available for sale. Mr. Olsen has no problem with this, having seized the means of production from his own soul. Proudly declaring uncompromising war on art under the dictatorship of the proletariat, Comrade Olsen sells his works without hesitation. All proceeds benefit his revolution from within.
